On 5th December, 'Sui Tour Gathering Strength and Intelligent Network Protection', the summary meeting of the achievements of Guangzhou online game industry ecological governance base, was successfully concluded at Guangzhou (International) Science and Technology Achievement Transformation Tianhe Base. UNI-STAR was awarded the title of '2024 Outstanding Enterprise of Guangzhou Game Industry in Cyberspace Governance' for its excellent performance in cyberspace governance and building a clear online environment in the past year.

The exhibition was led by the Office of Network Security and Informatisation Committee of the CPC Guangzhou Municipal Committee, and hosted by the Guangzhou Game Industry Association and the Guangzhou Online Game Industry Ecological Governance Base. It aimed to summarise the experience and showcase the achievements, gain a deeper understanding of the efforts and achievements of Guangzhou game enterprises in cyberspace governance, and recognise the outstanding enterprises with outstanding performance in cyberspace governance for the year 2024, setting an industry benchmark and providing a good opportunity for the industry to develop and improve network ecology. enterprises, set industry benchmarks, and provide other enterprises with experience and inspiration to learn from. In the past year, UNI-STAR has attached great importance to cyberspace governance, actively responded to the work of the Net Information Office of the Guangzhou Municipal Commission and the Guangzhou Game Industry Association on cyberspace governance, effectively fulfilled the main responsibility of information content management, resolutely curbed illegal behaviour and prevented and resisted undesirable information, and systematically established a cyberspace governance mechanism to make positive contributions to the creation of a clear cyberspace.

At present, UNI-STAR has used AI, big data and other technical means to build multiple systems such as ecological filtering of pages and inspection of undesirable network social behaviour, and has set up a special content inspection team to establish a double review mechanism of content by technical means + manual inspection, which conducts a 24/7 audit and inspection of game content, and strictly curbs the spread of illegal and undesirable information.

It is worth mentioning that 2024 is the first year of the promulgation and implementation of the regulations on the protection of minors on the Internet. UNI-STAR has done solid work in protecting minors in cyberspace and cultivating cyberspace literacy, and was awarded the "Guangzhou Minors" Cyberspace Governance Base Practice Base" and shortlisted in the "2024 Minors' Cyberspace Protection Industry Fulfillment of Social Responsibility Report" and the "Guangzhou Minors" Cyberspace Governance Outstanding Cases".

UNI-STAR and others have been awarded plaques of excellent enterprises by the Guangzhou Municipal Committee Net Information Office.

In the future, UNI-STAR will continue to respond positively to the requirements of relevant national laws and regulations, persistently promote the upgrading and innovation of the network management system, and intensify its efforts in the areas of protection of minors, privacy protection, content control, etc., so as to contribute to the creation of a healthy and civilised network environment and the building of a clear cyberspace.
