In celebration of the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and in order to deeply study and implement Xi Jinping's idea of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era, the Party branch of UNI-STAR went to Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province, on June 22-23 to follow the footsteps of the revolutionary forefathers, explore the super wisdom behind the construction of the national "super project", and further stimulate the patriotic sentiments, fighting spirit and innovative power of the Party team. On 22 June the UNI-STAR Party members entered the Yang Lagenarian Exhibition Hall for the first time. Yang Lagenarian was an outstanding revolutionary and theoretician in the early days of the Communist Party of China, a pioneer of the new cultural movement and the spread of Marxism in southern China, and also an exemplary representative of honesty and integrity who made great contributions to promoting the revolutionary process in Guangdong and even in the whole country, As the history of China, the People's Daily highlighted Yang Lagenarian, together with Li Dazhao, Chen Duxiu, Mao Zedong and others, as the outstanding figures in Chinese history of the "opening of heaven and earth" style.

Inside the exhibition hall, Yang Lagenarian's outstanding contributions to the revolution and to the study of the theory of the founding of the Party were presented in a panoramic view through physical objects and historical facts. Through historical photographs, newspaper letters, everyday objects and other display materials, Party comrades studied the glorious revolutionary deeds of Yang Lagenarian and learned about the noble qualities of proletarian revolutionaries embodied in him, such as clean hands and honesty in politics, and the lofty conviction that he remained steadfast and loyal to the Party even when he was behind bars.

Reciting the oath to join the Party and recalling the original intention to join the Party. On 23 June, UNI-STAR Party comrades came to the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge (HZMB) port to have a close look at the Jiuzhou Channel Bridge, the Jianghai Channel Bridge, the Qingzhou Channel Bridge, the undersea tunnel and the South Dolphin Island. The HZMB is the first mega-sea bridge built jointly by Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau under the "one country, two systems" principle. With a total length of approximately 55 kilometres, the HZMB is the longest cross-sea bridge in the world, as well as the most technologically complex, the most difficult to construct and the largest bridge in the world's construction history. It is a milestone in China's development from a big bridge country to a strong bridge country.

On 23 October 2018, at the opening ceremony of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HZMB), General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that "this is a bridge of dreams, concentricity, self-confidence and rejuvenation" and that it is "a national project and an important instrument of the country", which further strengthens our confidence in the path, theory and principles of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
